• Paid for 100% insurance and when battery died in second day, which was not in any way my fault, platform wanted to charge me to resolve the problem at $70 on-site. Platform kept asking me for videos, explanations, pictures and kept telling me to pay first and they will review. I know how the review would turn out since they did not even honour the insurance coverage. I took the mist insurance and platform pocketed my money without even thinking of helping the motorists out other than calling a service mechanic which they wanted me to pay for. What was my insurance for then? They kept saying they had to decide whether it’s my fault but an insurance is supposed to cover even for personal fault!! If I met with an accident, was I supposed to pay for repairs till their powers that be decided my insurance would cover? Is that how the platform’s insurance works? I wasted 3 hrs in the middle of the night trying to convince the customer service that I was entitled to service because of my insurance. They refused and said it was the host who should pay or decide! But I paid the platform all this insurance money which they did not give the host, so whose responsibility is it to provide the proper insurance coverage? If I had known they don’t give any insurance and that the payment I made was actually part of a scam, I wouldn’t have paid extra for full insurance coverage. The best part is that the customer service was arguing that since I started the car in the morning and drove it, that meant the battery was ok and not the platform’s responsibility but mine. Can you imagine how illogical they can be… this is Drive Lah customer service standard…. Say no to any support requested and just blame the driver for everything!!

• Car was ok (clean and smelt fine), but not in the top condition as reviewed. One headlamp wasn’t working and the key that came with the car had a semi-broken casing that I had to repair with tape to ensure that it did not fall apart while I used it. When I returned the car today at 5.30pm as per the host’s instructions, till now (11pm), there has been no response to acknowledge my texts. Disappointing.
