Great drive experience with the car, especially with the superior suspension ride qualities, overall quiet interior & exterior noise levels & premium grade audio sound system ! Performance is 'ok' but not fantastic but good enough for daily runs. But the infotainment software certainly needs much more upgrading in time to come to make it way more intuitive & user friendly ?!

• Smooth handovers with host. Overall, i find the eC4X a better car in more well tuned condition than the eC4 sampled earlier ! Strange the software & the trim detailing somewhat inconsistent among these 2 models, the fabric seat of the eC4 tends to be maintenance intensive so the leatherette material on the eC4X is more practical also looks better. Also certainly prefer the eC4X without the 'ghost' sounds when it moves !! The audio system has superior spatial effects approaching M-B & BMW levels

• Smooth handovers with host. Overall i didn't find notable performance advantage in the eC4 over the eC4X. Shorter length of eC4 enables easier parking, which is the noteworthy advantage although the hatchback rear boot door needs more space clearance to open so a disadvantage in low height parking spaces.

• Smooth hassle-free handovers with host. Overall i find this eC4 less satisfying than the eC4X. Performance to weight ratio not notably better despite being a smaller car ?!? The infotainment software, despite being presumably a later version, remains crappy to use. Rejects my USB stick which works in other cars ! However the suspension ride quality remains the #1 star feature of the car, being better than most cars ! Charges up from 53% to 92% in 39 mins.

• Smooth hassle-free handovers. Noted subtle improvements in the suspension ride qualities & audio sound system qualities of late. In the case of suspension, probably due to new car 'wearing in' processes having taken place after 13000 Km so that those squak noises over humps i no longer hear them ?! The sound system probably gotten more software updates over time such that the low end dynamic clarity improved with enhanced spatial depth etc.

Only unexpected issue was momentary total non-response from the car key-fob when trying to start-up the car the next morning after over-nite parking at my house. Resorted to using the emergency manual key from the key-fob to which the system instantly responded unlocking the doors & the key-fob working normally again.

• Overall hassle-free smooth handovers with host. Excellent ride comfort in stability & damping for a car with metal spring suspension due to the hydraulic overlay. Car had OTA software update which resulted in perceptably higher quality audio bass & dynamic range performance although overall state of the software organisation remains limited in global coverage ?! Basic hardware is competent but the software seems 'weak' in the support. So overall still a great drive preferable over Asian make !

• Brandon is a very accommodating and friendly host. Even before collection, he will send over helpful and detailed instructions on which apps to utilise for EV charging. He went over the steps for charging and explained how the car works. The ride was very new and responsive. Interior and exterior both very very well kept and in top condition. Will defo rent again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience and ride. One of the rare gems of drivelah!

In overview, unlike the new Chinese branded EV's with short history, this old French branded EV is sound in the traditional fundamental areas like car know-how in concept & design, suspension supremacy. However the UI software is still behind Tesla even BYD or MG in intuitiveness, ease of use & flow logic ! I find it most inconvenient operating the touchscreen i.e. many steps to do 1 simple task e.g.

• Smooth flexible handover arrangements with host. Car offers quiet smooth comfortable ride with the hydraulic cushion suspension. Charges fast from 43 to 99% in 1 hour DC 100kw rate. Able to hold @ 99% charge level for min 6+ Km. Infotainment..still unable to get Android auto working & the USB seems unable to play exFAT format MP3 files ?!? Nevertheless overall satisfying drive experience ! Rear legroom more limited due to shorter wheelbase but overall length not too long enabling easier parking.

• Overall impressions from my latest trip remains largely unchanged as per my previous review. Only exceptional issue is the sudden failure to start, which required 'hardware reset' to rectify ! Also found the infotainment software clumsy to operate, unable to use Android Auto. Hopefully these are 'new car teething' issues expected to be resolved in due course via new updates from the maker ? Otherwise, this a car to travel in with fundamentally superior quality feel factor over Chinese brands !

• Smooth quick handovers with host. Car is brand new with 3-figure mileage ! Overall is an above par comfortable car as expected from Citroen with their hydraulic overlay on the suspension offering superior stability & damping within a conventional setup. A quiet car despite idle NVH levels not lowest due to nosier a/c fan. Rear notch back to spacious boot needing far less clearance to open so advantageous over SUV/MPV hatchbacks. Adequate performance around M-B C180 levels. Charges quickly.
